I appreciate the email response.
I grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee and
lived near Fort Sanders Hospital most of
my early years, then the family moved to
South Knoxville. After graduating from
South High School I enlisted in the U.S
Army and did some time on active duty.
I retired from the U.S. Army in 2001
with 27+ years and now work as a
government contractor.
I've been living in Oliver Springs,
Tennessee for the past 25+ years.
My father-in-law is/was from Maryville
are his three (3) daughters, one of
which I married 25+ years ago.
For my mother-in-law I was attempting to
get some information to put together a
little shadowbox memorial covering the
time he was a member of the 191st Field
Artillery (C Battery as I recall).
