Hi Steve,
My
name is Harald and I live in Vienna
(Austria).
My father (he already passed away) was
a member of the German "Wehrmacht" and
served in North-Africa and was imprisoned in
spring '43 as far as i know. I have an
English grammar book of my father where a
stamp says "Army Services Forces, Fourth
Service Command, Headquarters Prisoner of
War Camp, Camp Forrest, Tennessee (now
handwritten) Nov. 30.1945; Personal Property
of Otto Hihs 4 WG 29606, etc."
I am curious if there any documents about
the POWs still exist, especially about my
father. Can you help or tell me where i
could get any further informations? Thanks a
lot in advance.
