I've been
contracted by the Tennessee River Resort Act
to write a book about Camp Tyson, which was
the only barrage balloon facility in the US
during WWII. It also housed both Italian and
German POWs.
I understand
you've done research on POWs at Camp Forrest
and I saw on your website some
correspondence with Connie Sachs, who was
also doing research in general on POWs in
Tennessee.
Do you have any
info on the POWs that were held at Camp
Tyson?
Also, I emailed
Connie via the email address on your
website, but she may not still be using
that. Do you have any current contact info
for her?
