I just purchased a home in Madison, TN about 2 miles from the river in a subdivision off Neelys Bend.  While exploring our new backyard, we turned over a headstone for Alfred L. Choate.  His ARMY ID no. was 34901990.  He enlisted at Camp Forrest on November 23, 1943.  According to records I can find, he lived in Davidson County, was born in 1913, and was married.  I don't know if he is buried in my backyard, or if the stone was moved there.  Any information would be appreciated.
