The sole purpose of
this web site is for those that remember and who still live, for
those sons,
daughters and friends whose parents, great grandparents, friends and
relatives maybe long since
passed away who came through this camp whether being interned during
the war or as a part of
military training on their way to the war.
I am amazed at the number of people who have contacted me throughout
the years about Camp Forrest. This was just a small part of a web
site I did inside my major web site
www.blountweb.com.
I created a military web site within theBlountWeb to say thanks to
the men and women who served from Blount County Tennessee. Over the
past years the most interest and response has been pertaining to
Camp Forrest. So this site is dedicated solely to Camp Forrest
Tennessee. If you have any contributions in the way of articles,
photographs, art work and the like I know there are many people out
there who are trying to make contact with the history and
endearments of those who were a part of Camp Forrest.
